East End Solutions are experts in restoring and replicating antique and historical metalwork for land-marked and non-land-marked properties. We can repair ironwork using pure iron and historically accurate techniques. We can also take existing antique ironwork and modify/restore it to work with the structure’s current function.

East End Solutions is committed to upholding the historical integrity in every one of our restoration projects. We are experts in creating authentic and artistic hardware in a variety of materials. We can replicate and repair existing hardware on historical structures undergoing restoration. Our company adheres to the highest standards in metal finishing. This includes the “metalizing,” protecting the ironwork by keeping it corrosion free for decades. East End Solutions’ offers custom high-grade paint, powder coating, chemical, and natural patinas.

The ironwork methods we utilize are rarely seen today. This type of construction is generally not used in modern metalwork. Working this way is considerably more difficult and time-consuming, though the results are often more pleasing to the eye. All restoration process must be carefully assessed before removal, especially ironwork with significant corrosion due to its age.

Once the ironwork is uninstalled, it is transported back to our facility for dismantling. This is done to see the full extent of the damage and work with clean material free of paint that would not produce harmful fumes when heated.

East End Solutions works to preserve the original material, and if not possible, we use new steel to replace the severely damaged sections that could not be saved. The final step is to have the ironwork painted in a custom-blended color to match the ironwork’s existing finish before installation.
